Prospectively Healthy & Wellness Clinic proudly reveals its recent expansion with a brand-new location in Hays.
The family-owned local business is introducing new services and celebrating the occasion with its grand opening Thursday.
Jessica Moffitt owns the Prospectively Healthy & Wellness Clinic, 209 W. 12th St. alongside Dr. Dustin Moffitt.
“My husband and I started Prospectively Healthy in 2012, and we recently opened our clinic here on Jan. 2,” Jessica said.
The clinic in Hays is their second location with their initial one located in Oakley, 211 Cherry Ave. St., which remains in operation.
The grand opening celebration will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at the Hays location. The event will feature a ribbon cutting and brick presentation, followed by a community appreciation after-party from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at The Strand, 1002 Main St.
“We’re committed to the Hays community. They’ve been nothing but amazing and supportive of us since our family moved here in 2017,” she said.
The party will consist of desserts, coffee, snacks and door prizes valued at more than $500.
Jessica, a specialist in health and wellness, provides coaching to individuals seeking physical and nutritional support through both classes and private sessions.
“I offer six-week challenges, which is a combination of all of my services,” she said. “There are workouts, meal plans, delicious recipes and step-by-step instructions to help individuals become a stronger version of themselves.”
Jessica offers services both virtually and in-person, available exclusively at the Prospectively Healthy & Wellness Clinic in Hays.
Dr. Moffitt specializes in naturopathic and functional-based medicine as well as chronic illnesses, which include cancer, Lyme disease, diabetes and cancer with a focus on hormones.
“Dr. Moffitt is a certified hormone specialist with many years of experience,” Jessica said. “Instead of looking at them from a laboratory numeric value, he looks at how the patients are feeling daily and helps them optimize those levels for how they want to function on a day-to-day basis.”
Dr. Moffitt’s additional areas of expertise include performance health, sports medicine, weight loss, regenerative injection therapies, thyroid management and advanced intravenous nutrition.
The intravenous services offered at Prospectively Healthy provide a treatment approach not available anywhere else in northwest Kansas, Jessica said.
“We add nutrients when the body is missing something, for example, vitamin C, but also we have the unique ability to help the body detox and remove things that should not be in the body like heavy metals, viruses, fungus and bacteria,” she said.
Jessica typically concentrates on assisting women post-childbirth and spanning the age range from 30 to 70, while Dr. Moffitt aims to help anyone of all ages who wishes to improve their health more organically.
“After a pregnancy and around menopause, there is an uptick in need for hormones,” Jessica said. “Anybody who’s looking for a more natural approach to balancing and healing their body can do so with our help.”
Dr. Moffitt provides services through both Prospectively Healthy & Wellness Clinic at Hays and Oakley.
Many of the services offered at the Oakley location will be available at their Hays clinic, as well as new treatments such as oxidative therapies, light therapies and biphotonic therapy.
“We have 3,700 square feet of clinic space and a lot of room for more services, clinicians and patients who can be able to experience what it is that we have to offer,” Jessica said.
Thursday’s celebration is open to everyone, but Jessica said she hopes to see those who have been supportive of their local business.
“Anybody that has been supportive of this crazy journey that we’re on, we would love to see them and be able to help celebrate with them,” she said. “This would not be possible without the Hays community being as kind to us as they have been.”
The Prospectively Healthy & Wellness Clinic has extended its intravenous services to Fridays, providing a 10 percent discount on the service for those wearing tiger gold apparel to the clinic.
Prospectively Healthy & Wellness Clinic is open from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays through Fridays.
